Media Server Pro is built for local-network media streaming. It does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, and does not collect usage data.

What the app does not collect

No usage analytics.
No account information.
No cloud media library.
No remote viewing history.

Your files and local streaming

Your original files stay on your Mac. Media streams directly to devices on your local network, without a cloud upload.

Media Server Pro shares the folders you choose so compatible devices on the same home network can browse and play supported files. Playback stays within your local network unless your own network or device setup routes traffic differently.

Mac App Store purchases

The app is sold through the Mac App Store. Purchases, refunds, and App Store account details are handled by Apple, not by Media Server Pro.
